The Office of the Mufti launched the Fatwa Compilation Series, comprising a collection of fatwas that offer guidance on specific areas and address various issues faced by the Singapore Muslim community. It offers in-depth analysis of the fatwas issued by the community, and highlights how the interpretation of classical religious sources interact with the socio-religious context in the issuance of fatwa.

The second edition of the Fatwa Compilation Series, titled “Fatwa of Singapore: Inheritance, Estate Planning, and Distribution”, will be launched at the Fatwa in Contemporary Societies 2024 conference. This edition will focus on issues relating to inheritance, estate planning, and distribution of wealth.
